Uncle, help!?

The call was fast-paced and out of breath. My nephew, Jacob, needed professional sports lifestyle photos for school and social media, and he needed them yesterday. Do anyone else’s high school-aged family and friends like to procrastinate?

Either way, I was happy to jump in and offer up a portrait session to help him out. I asked him to put on his athletic clothes and meet me at the park in a half-hour. He expressed his gratitude, we hung up, and out the door, we went.

From there, the rest was easy. I met my nephew at a local park, and after a couple of deep breaths, he explained what he was looking for in a little more detail. We then found a spot with good light and a little bit of shade. We settled right in as I took photos for 20-mins posing him in ways that flattered his 6’5” frame. We wrapped up, and my sister met us in the parking lot. He was ecstatic.

I then went home, uploaded and edited the photos, and delivered a personalized photo gallery within 48-hours. Easy peasy.
